The coming of May brings more good news for Chilliwack and Englewood Courtyard! The Real Estate Investment Network (REIN) recently named Chilliwack as one of British Columbia’s top ten best cities for investment in their annual report.
The report praises Chilliwack for being “a hidden gem,” touting its strong job growth, major city projects, and projected population growth.
Melanie Reuter, REIN’s director of research, quotes improvements such as “the Port Mann Bridge, the Golden Ears Bridge, and the extra lanes on Highway One” as contributing factors to Chilliwack’s high ranking. These transit enhancements help connect cities like Chilliwack to “places of employment such as Surrey, Coquitlam, and Vancouver.”
Reuter adds that the easier commute and lower price points in Chilliwack helped push the city to eighth place on the top ten list.
