The 4th Annual Englewood Fishing Derby was a huge success again this year. There were 111 entrants who took part in our special Derby. The weather varied during the weekend with rain on Saturday which brought the fish up river.
We had 6 fish landed with resident Keith Hall winning his second Englewood fishing derby and retaining the trophy for another year. Congratulations Keith! Special mention to both Travis VanLeeuwen who won the largest fish (non resident) for a 30 lb Chinook Spring Salmon, and to Shelley Krahn for landing a 11 lb Chinook Spring Salmon which won her the Trophy for the Largest Fish caught by a female. As the pictures indicate the Hawaiian themed event drew some great costumes and dressed up RV’s. Many thanks to the fishing derby committee who once again put on a fantastic derby, without you we could not have put it on!
