Mark Perry and Andrew MacDonald are excited to host the Englewood 4th Annual Fishing Derby. Once again it will be a weekend event held at the Vedder River Campgounds, along the banks of the beautiful Vedder River. The dates are September 25, 26 and prizes on the 27th.
As every other year we will have a host of prizes to present.
- A trophy for the biggest fish caught by a resident
- A trophy for the biggest fish caught by a female or male
- A trophy & $100.00 for the biggest fish caught by a non-resident
- $75.00 for the 2nd largest fish caught
- $50.00 for the 3rd largest fish caught
For this year we are hosting our very first “Themed Derby” and because of the beautiful sunny summer we have had we thought it would be appropriate to have this year’s theme “Hawaiian” which will include a Pig Roast and a prize for “The Best Dressed R.V.”
There will be 140 tickets available for the Derby at a cost of $10.00 each. This includes the Pig Roast and the Draws. These tickets will be available at the Clubhouse or thru Dianne and Larry. Please call them at 604-824-7530 or pick up at 5596 Crawley Drive, Chilliwack, B.C. (in the Village) or come and drop by the Clubhouse.
There will be 26 R.V. spots reserved at a cost of $50.00 for the weekend.
Please note the cut off for purchase of tickets is August 30, 2015.
