One of the best things about living in at Englewood Courtyard is its proximity to the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). Even though many of us aren’t students anymore, there are still so many resources available to people of all ages at the UFV.
Located just a short walk away from Englewood Courtyard, the Chilliwack campus of UFV is a fully accredited university with over 15,000 students per year. The prestigious school has been a beacon for prospective students across British Columbia. There are other campuses available in Abbotsford, Hope, Mission, and Agassiz.
The university is large enough to offer a wide variety of different programs and diplomas but still small enough to maintain small classroom sizes and teaching quality.
If you’re looking to improve your skills without immersing yourself into an entire degree, UFV offers continuing education courses for adults. Topics range from mainstream topics like Business, Management, and Retail, all the way to obscure subjects like Bicycle Maintenance and Jewelry Silversmithing. This is a great way to touch up on an old skill or just to learn something completely new! Whichever the reason, UFV has a course waiting for you.
